I just started working on my PMP application and one of the fields with which I am having trouble is "Organisation's phone number".
I work for an Organization of 3500 employees. There is no one phone number that anybody can call from the outside and get exactly the information that they are looking for. It is unlikely that if I provide a general public relations number, the person who answers will be able to immediately verify my identity. At the same time I don't know whether I can provide my superior's phone number since this is requested later in the application form. What should I do?

Accuracy vs Precision - What's the Difference?
Accuracy and Precision are terms that most people use interchangeably in normal life. But when it comes to statistics and quality management, they have a very distinct meaning. Accuracy is about values being close to the true or target value, whereas Precision is about values being close to each other (less scatter). The concepts are really simple to grasp if you get to see a few good examples. If you are preparing for the PMP or CAPM certification you should clearly understand the difference between Accuracy and Precision before you go for the exam.

PMP Exam 2021 - Question Format
The PMP Exam 2021 now has 5 different formats of questions, unlike earlier editions of the exam where you had to select one right answer among the given choices.
The new PMP Exam 2021 includes these 5 formats of question:
- Multiple choice (multiple-choice questions with one correct answer)
- Multiple response (multiple-choice questions with more than one correct answers, and may have more than 4 choices)
- Match-the-following (drag and drop type questions)
- Fill-in-the-blank questions (usually you have to enter a single word or number in the field provided)
- Hotspot questions (you need to select on an area of an image to select the answer)
When you are preparing for the PMP exam, try to practice questions of all these types of formats.

PMP Exam is changing on Mar 26, 2018, but according to PMI, the PMP exam content outline would remain unchanged from June 2015. Here's what PMI said:
"In conjunction with the September 2017 release of the PMBOK® Guide – Sixth Edition, we are updating the PMP exam. This will ensure consistent use of terminology and will harmonize process groups, tools and techniques between the Guide and the exam.
Although it does not test your knowledge of the PMBOK Guide®, it is one of the primary references for the exam. Please note, the PMP exam content outline will not be updated."

Recently passed PMP exam
Hey folks,
I passed the PMP examination recently and wanted to pass along a few tips that got me through those hard, grind it out hours of preparation. There were lots of up and downs, but focus, persistence, and resilience is the key. The exam is passable, but it is critical to plan your study approach months in advance, similar to planning a project in your line of work. Here are few things that helped me:
• If your planned exam date is at least three months out, I would spend two hours a day during the week and at least three hours a day during the weekend to prepare. This will give you enough time to take practice exams and improve in the areas which are under par.
• Taking regular breaks when needed. Breaking out a 6 hour study day into 3 two-hour periods or 6 one-hour periods is more productive that 1 six-hour period. Studies show your brain can absorb new information when it is in idle mode, so give it a rest from time to time.
• Measure your progress through quizzes and practice exams, in addition, take note of processes that are giving you the most fits. You want to make sure your weak areas are not exposed when you decide to take the final exam.
• Finally, be sure your mind is free of distractions and other stress-inducing factors when studying. However you choose to do this, whether it be more sleep, music, meditation, yoga, you will study better when you’re in a positive mental state.

Can Singaporeans use SkillsFuture Credit to pay for PMI Membership and PMP Certification Renewal?
In Singapore, I know that SkillsFuture credits can be used to pay for PMP Certification Exam Fees and other popular PM and IT certification exams. However, can SkillsFuture credits be used to pay for PMI Membership and PMP certification renewal or other renewal of other certifications? Renewing PMP Certification as a member costs $60 versus $150 as a non-member. Those who have multiple PMI-accredited certifications can save even more by signing up for PMI Membership. So, it makes sense to sign up for the membership if you have multiple certifications to be renewed in the same year or so.
This is not an advertisement for PMI Membership or SkillsFuture. I'm genuinely interested to know the answer. I tried to search online but couldn't find a definitive answer. Hope someone can share their personal experience on this.
